Cross Phenyl
Incepted in the year 1984, Cross Phenyl is serving as an in-demand household brand from “Chemical & Petrochemical Industries”. Showcasing their expertise, they have an array of products including Black Phenyl, Cross Hygiene, Cross Citra Fresh, Cross Neem and Cross Liquid Dish Wash
Looking back, the establishment started manufacturing black phenyl as per demand, maintaining all Government norms. Along with the development of the new flat campuses, they introduced white phenyl, in 1989. This white phenyl is primarily manufactured using pine oil with the essence of flora that introduced Cross Hygiene. In 1994-95, they produced Citra fresh phenyl, popular for getting rid of germs, mosquitoes, flies and other common insects. Later they came up with the Cross-Neem Phenyl holding the benefits of Neem extracts, Cross Lime Phenyl with a refreshing fragrance. They have also ventured in the manufacturing of Cross Toilet Cleaner and Cross Liquid Dish Wash.
Under the direction of the founders, Mr A. K. Ghosh and Dr. Santi Dhan Nandi, the brand has set milestones over its journey of almost four decades. A journey that started with a dedication towards manufacturing different raw materials for phenyl has successfully established its business over West Bengal, North-Eastern Indian States, Bihar, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh.
About the Founders
Mr A. K. Ghosh was a Chemical engineer and had completed his Master’s from Jadavpur University. Dr. Santi Dhan Nandi earned his PhD in Chemistry from Jadavpur University. After the demise of Dr. Santi Dhan Nandi in 2009, his wife, Smt. Swapna Nandi is committed to the further development of the company along with Mr A. K. Ghosh.
